KID CUID: THE MAN IN THE MOON

His full name is Scott Ramon Seguro Miscued. He was born on January 3, 1984 in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a rapper, singer, song writer and actor. His father was a World War II veteran, and his mother was a middle school teacher. His father died from cancer, and this has changed Kid Cudi personality and his music tremendously. It was after high school when he started rapping. He dropped out his freshman year of college to go to Brooklyn New York to work on his rapping career.

In 2008, he put out a mix tape called “A kid named Cudi.” His first hit was “Day N’ Nite.” Than in 2009, he released an album named “Man in the Moon,” which was a huge success. It was critically acclaimed. Big names like Kanye West collaborated in the album. It sold 104,419 in the first week. Since then, he’s been working with some of the biggest names in the industry. Snoop Dogg, Travis Barker, Clips, Cage, Pharell are all collaborating with him. Kid Cudi is a true promising artist.

The single “Say My Name” obtained two Grammy awards in 2001. After that album, Destiny’s Child created another album, “Survivor”, which included hits like the title track and the single “Bootylicious”. The band determined to break up in the year 2005 but by then had proved themselves to be one of the top selling female groups of all time.
